With my 27 years I have already lived through some amazing adventures I would not want to miss. Starting out as an Austrian country side girl with a passion for design, I ended up in Seattle where I am creating user experiences for some of the biggest and best known companies in the world.

But how did I end up here? Well this is a long story...

After graduating from a business focused highschool in Wels Austria, I decided that I have enough of numbers and calculation.

I wanted to do something creative, so I started to study Media Technology and Design in Hagenberg, Austria where I learned to design and develop software (I stayed there to do my Bachelor and Masters degree).

Working on digital office solutions, my project team qualified for the final round in the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2007, a student competition with over 100,000 participants, in Seoul, Korea. So we went to Korea to participate in the final on site competition and had a lot of fun. Flying home with a 1st place in Interface Design and a 4th place in Software Design in our pockets, we were really excited about what we had accomplished.

After our success in Korea, I was asked if I wanted to do a photo shoot for an ad campaign for Microsoft Austria - hell yes! This is going to be a fun experience!

The next task on my list was graduating form university and leaving the life of a student behind to discover the world.

Together with my fiance I decided to leave Austria for some new adventures in Seattle (United States), where I got a job as a User Experience Designer. And here I am now!

What I do, when I am not working

Even when I am not working, I am usually creative. I like working with colors and different textures in my paintings. When I am not painting I am usually out hunting for good shots with my camera, reading a good book or doing some sports with friends.
